Britney Spears’ appearance on How I Met Your Mother seemed to be what the fans wanted, or at least were incredibly curious about.
‘…… Mother‘ usually draws in an average viewership of just under 8 million viewers per episode. The episode that Britney guest starred in drew in just over 10.5 million viewers. Wow, the girl’s still got it.
Critics are generally being nice about her appearance, saying things like how you’d never know she ever had a bad day judging from what we saw, and ‘as adorable as she was way back when’.
Britney played a love-struck receptionist in a tattoo-removal clinic who falls for the main character and spent two days filming her stint.
I tried to link to the YouTube posting of the scene she was in, but I got this message:
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation
You’d thinhk 20th Century would want the publicity.. oh well.
But I did find a running version over here at news.com.
More of the Usual News
Britney was spotted going back to Alley Kat Rehearsal Studio’s, for some unspeculated reason, but we can all hope, to get back into her former self’s shape and TMZ was reporting that attorney Jon Eardley’s challenge to the present conservatorship was tossed out of the California Court of Appeals calling the challenge bogus and didn’t even wait for the the conservators to file a response.. Wow, the law does work every now and then.
The odd part about this court ruling is that over in places like www.nme.com, they’re reffering to this story as “Singer’s request for conservatorship is thrown out“, and they make headline with things such as “Spears and her lawyer John Eardley ….” eh? Have they been in a cave all this time or is there something only they have insight to?? Does Eardley or Lutfi have an owning interest in this site?
On the Family Front
People magazine reports that Jamie Lynn Spears is engaged to her baby’s father, Casey Aldridge.
